Here is what we do
As WA's premier brass ensemble, The Royal Agricultural Society of WA Brass provides music in all styles - from traditional hymns, marches and contest music to light classics, popular and specialty music.
A recent cross section of music performed includes:
- Philip Wilby Paganini Variations
- Ottorino Resphigi March from the Pines of Rome
- Trad arr Himes Amazing Grace
- Percy Grainger arr Lourens Irish Tune from County Derry
- George Gershwin arr Fernie Someone to Watch Over Me
- Barry Gott Light Walk
- Jo Zawinul Birdland
- William Rimmer Viva Birkinshaw
Besides the standard 25-piece brass ensemble, The Royal Agricultural Society of WA Brass assumes various guises for different situations.
This includes a "Bier Kellar Band" which is a smaller ensemble that specialises in playing traditional German Beer Hall music for Octoberfests, and similar occasions.
