Paul De Cinque
Paul took up the position of Musical Director in early 2004. He studied at UWA where he completed a Bachelor of Music with honours, majoring in Trumpet Performance. He followed this with a Bachelor of Music Education.
Paul has performed as a trumpet player with the WA Youth Orchestra, the UWA Orchestra and Wind Orchestra as well as other ensembles around Perth. He was a featured soloist with the WA Youth Orchestra in 2002 and 2004 as well as the Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra in 2000 and 2002.
Paul has studied conducting with Dr Dale Lonis (Canada), Gary Smith (USA) and Dr Alan Lourens (formerly conductor of The Royal Agricultural Society of WA Brass). He was the recipient of the WA Youth Orchestra's Sir Charles Court Conducting Internship for 2004.
